pride Community Ticket Program
Far too many people in the LGBTQIA+ community experience financial insecurity simply because of their identity. According to a 2016 study by The Williams Institute, one in four LGBTQIA+ individuals (approximately 2.2 million people) did not have the resources to feed themselves or their families during some period of the year.
It’s important to Bloomington PRIDE that financial insecurity not limit access to our programming. That’s why we created the PRIDE Community Ticket Program, an initiative that allows you to have a direct impact on this very real concern in for LGBTQIA+ people in Bloomington.
We hope you’ll consider sponsoring a block of tickets for the 2020 PRIDE Film Festival. Your generosity will help ensure that as many LGBTQIA+ individuals as possible are able to experience and take part in the 18th annual festival. Bloomington PRIDE has committed to setting aside 50 tickets for individuals needing financial assistance to attend the 2020 PRIDE Film Festival. We hope that you will join us in our efforts to increase accessibility by buying (at a reduced rate) a block of tickets for community members in need.
